Brooks Landscape and Design performs six services across Ventura County and the Conejo Valley, and runs them as one project rather than six. The order they happen in matters as much as the quality of each: grading and drainage decide what the hardscape can do, and the hardscape decides what the planting can do.

The order the work happens in
The order the work happens in is fixed. Grading and drainage first, because every later decision depends on where water goes. Then hardscape and structures, because they set the levels and the routes. Then pools, because the shell and its equipment need access that a finished garden does not allow. Then planting, irrigation and lighting last, because they are the layer that everything else was built to support.
Reversing any part of that order is how a landscape ends up being partly rebuilt within its first two years.
